Auto Sleep#
To maximize battery life and protect internal components, the OmniRing is designed to enter a deep sleep mode automatically when not in use.
1. When does the ring turn off?#
The ring will automatically shut down (turn off completely) after 5 minutes of inactivity in the following situations:
Bluetooth Disconnected: The ring is waiting for a connection, but no phone has connected to it.
Fully Charged: The ring is on the charger and has been at 100% battery (Solid Green Light) for more than 5 minutes.
Note: This safety feature prevents long-term overcharging.
2. How to keep the ring awake#
The inactivity timer resets, and the ring will stay on as long as:
Data is Streaming: You are actively using the App to monitor your vitals.
Battery is Charging: The ring is on the charger and the battery is not yet full (Charging LED is pulsing).
3. How to wake up the ring#
Once the ring enters Deep Sleep mode:
All lights will turn off.
The ring will not be discoverable via Bluetooth.
To wake the device:
Place the ring back into the charging case (or connect the charger).
The device will detect the power source, reboot immediately, and resume Bluetooth broadcasting (Blue LED will start blinking).
